A piezoelectric magnetic digital to analog converter, a digital to analog conversion method, and system use piezoelectric effect and magnetic induction to reconstruct the infinite analog values between discrete digital samples. This magnetic-piezoelectric armature delivers an output analog signal of a smooth continuous nature that provides a more faithful representation of the original analog signal. The method and system use mechanical movement, which is continuous by nature since there is no quantization in the different positions a moving object can assume between two spatial points, to construct the signal approximation between digital samples. The magnetic-piezoelectric armature uses a highly sensitive piezoelectric material that moves a magnet in the proximity of a wire coil to induce a voltage signal reproducing the original analog signal. The piezoelectric material expands and contracts following the changes in voltage between digital samples which induces a corresponding continuous analog voltage signal in the coil.

La présente invention concerne un convertisseur numérique-analogique magnétique piézoélectrique, un procédé de conversion numérique-analogique et un système utilisant un effet piézoélectrique et une induction magnétique pour reconstruire les valeurs analogiques infinies entre des échantillons numériques discrets. Cette armature magnétique-piézoélectrique délivre un signal analogique de sortie de nature continue et lisse qui fournit une représentation plus fidèle du signal analogique d'origine. Le procédé et le système utilisent un mouvement mécanique, qui est continu par nature compte tenu de l'absence de quantification dans les différentes positions qu'un objet mobile peut prendre entre deux points spatiaux, pour construire l'approximation de signal entre des échantillons numériques. L'armature magnétique-piézoélectrique utilise un matériau piézoélectrique hautement sensible qui déplace un aimant à proximité d'une bobine de fil pour induire un signal de tension reproduisant le signal analogique d'origine. Le matériau piézoélectrique se dilate et se contracte suite aux changements de tension entre des échantillons numériques qui induisent un signal de tension analogique continu correspondant dans la bobine.
