A laminate glass article is provided that includes: a core glass layer comprising a first coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE); and a plurality of clad glass layers, each comprising a first primary surface, a second primary surface in contact with the core glass layer and a second CTE that is lower than the first CTE of the core glass layer. The difference in the first and second CTE is about 10 x 10-7/⁰C to about 70 x 10-7/⁰C. Further, each of the core glass layer and the clad glass layers comprises a viscosity from 109.0 to 1014.0 Poise from about 550⁰C to about 700⁰C.

L'invention concerne un article en verre feuilleté qui comprend : une couche de verre centrale présentant un premier coefficient de dilatation thermique (CTE); et une pluralité de couches de verre de revêtement, comprenant chacune une première surface principale, une seconde surface principale en contact avec la couche de verre centrale et un second CTE qui est inférieur au premier CTE de la couche de verre centrale. La différence entre les premier et second CTE est d'environ 10 x 10-7/⁰C à environ 70 x 10-7/⁰C. En outre, chacune de la couche de verre centrale et des couches de verre de revêtement présente une viscosité de 109,0 à 1014,0 poises d'environ 550 °C à environ 700 °C.
