Abstract
(EN)
A vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser for near-field illumination of an eye includes a semiconductor substrate, a first reflector, a mesa region, a first electrical contact, and a second electrical contact. The first reflector is disposed on a first side of the semiconductor substrate and the mesa region is disposed on the first reflector. The mesa region includes a second reflector and an active region, where the mesa region is configured to generate a diverging infrared beam. The first electrical contact is disposed on a second side of the semiconductor substrate, opposite the first side, for electrically coupling to the first reflector. The second electrical contact is also disposed on the second side of the semiconductor substrate for electrically coupling to the second reflector.

L'invention concerne un laser à cavité verticale émettant par la surface pour l'éclairage en champ proche d'un oeil comprenant un substrat semi-conducteur, un premier réflecteur, une région mésa, un premier contact électrique et un second contact électrique. Le premier réflecteur est disposé sur un premier côté du substrat semi-conducteur et la région mésa est disposée sur le premier réflecteur. La région mésa comprend un second réflecteur et une région active, la région mésa étant configurée pour générer un faisceau infrarouge divergent. Le premier contact électrique est disposé sur un second côté du substrat semi-conducteur, opposé au premier côté, pour un couplage électrique au premier réflecteur. Le second contact électrique est également disposé sur le second côté du substrat semi-conducteur pour un couplage électrique au second réflecteur.
