Abstract

A heat recovery wheel for a heat exchanger includes a wheel rim defining an outer perimeter of the heat recovery wheel, and a plurality of wheel passages located between the wheel rim and the wheel axis, the plurality of wheel passages arranged in a plurality of layers relative to a wheel central axis. One or more parting elements are located between adjacent layers of the plurality of layers, each of parting elements a strip having a strip width less than an axial length of the plurality of layers. The plurality of wheel passages are configured for flow of a first airflow and a second airflow therethrough for thermal energy exchange between the first airflow and the second airflow.

L'invention concerne une roue de récupération de chaleur destinée à un échangeur de chaleur et comprend une jante de roue définissant un périmètre extérieur de la roue de récupération de chaleur, et une pluralité de passages de roue situés entre la jante de roue et l'axe de roue, la pluralité de passages de roue étant agencés en une pluralité de couches par rapport à un axe central de roue. Au moins un élément de séparation est situé entre des couches adjacentes de la pluralité de couches, chacun des éléments de séparation étant une bande ayant une largeur de bande inférieure à une longueur axiale de la pluralité de couches. La pluralité de passages de roue sont conçus pour l'écoulement d'un premier flux d'air et d'un second flux d'air à travers ceux-ci pour un échange d'énergie thermique entre le premier flux d'air et le second flux d'air.
