The present invention is in the field of a quantum wavelength converter between a microwave signal and an optical signal and vice versa. In the converter a nanoscale cavity optomechanical circuit is used in which optomechanical cavities supporting colocalized infrared photons and microwave phonons are combined with a photonic and a phononic waveguide.

La présente invention s'inscrit dans le domaine d'un convertisseur de longueur d'onde quantique entre un signal hyperfréquence et un signal optique et vice versa. Dans le convertisseur, un circuit optomécanique à cavité nanométrique est utilisé, dans lequel des cavités optomécaniques supportant des photons infrarouges colocalisés et des phonons micro-ondes sont combinées avec un guide d'ondes photonique et phononique.
