The present invention provides a display device, which enables minimization of a transformer circuit and which can be driven using various commercial voltages, and a method for controlling the display device. The display device according to an embodiment comprises: a display unit; a transformer unit which transforms commercial power and supplies the transformed commercial power to the display unit and which includes a plurality of switching devices; and a control unit for determining, on the basis of the magnitude of an input voltage input to the transformer unit, whether or not to open at least one of the plurality of switching devices, and controlling the plurality of switching devices on the basis of the output voltage of the transformer unit to perform a modulation control of the output voltage to follow a predetermined reference voltage.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage, qui permet de réduire au minimum un circuit de transformateur et qui peut être commandé à l'aide de diverses tensions commerciales, et un procédé de commande du dispositif d'affichage. Le dispositif d'affichage selon un mode de réalisation comprend : une unité d'affichage ; une unité de transformateur qui transforme une puissance commerciale et fournit la puissance commerciale transformée à l'unité d'affichage et qui comprend une pluralité de dispositifs de commutation ; et une unité de commande destinée à déterminer, sur la base de l'amplitude d'une entrée de tension d'entrée vers l'unité de transformateur, s'il faut ou non ouvrir au moins un dispositif de la pluralité de dispositifs de commutation, et à commander la pluralité de dispositifs de commutation sur la base de la tension de sortie de l'unité de transformateur pour effectuer une commande de modulation de la tension de sortie afin de suivre une tension de référence prédéterminée.

본 발명은 변압 회로의 소형화가 가능하고 다양한 상용 전압을 이용하여 동작하는 디스플레이 장치 및 그 제어방법을 제공한다. 일 실시예에 따른 디스플레이 장치는, 디스플레이부; 상용전원을 변압하여 상기 디스플레이부에 공급하고 복수의 스위칭 소자를 포함하는 변압부; 및 상기 변압부에 입력되는 입력 전압의 크기를 기초로 상기 복수의 스위칭 소자 중 적어도 하나의 스위칭 소자의 개방 여부를 결정하고, 상기 변압부의 출력전압을 기초로 상기 복수의 스위칭 소자를 제어하여 상기 출력 전압이 미리 결정된 기준 전압을 추종하도록 상기 출력 전압의 변조 제어를 수행하는 제어부;를 포함한다.
