Provided is a method for manufacturing a needle coke powder, the method including: preparing a pre-sorted powder including a plurality of needle coke particles, and measuring an order parameter representing the degree of orientation of crystals included in the needle coke particles, such orientation in relation to the lengthwise direction of the needle coke particles; and sorting needle coke particles on the basis of the order parameter value to obtain a needle coke powder comprising a plurality of sorted needle coke particles.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une poudre de coke en aiguilles, le procédé comprenant : la préparation d'une poudre pré-triée comprenant une pluralité de particules de coke en aiguilles et la mesure d'un paramètre d'ordre représentant le degré d'orientation de cristaux contenus dans les particules de coke en aiguilles, une telle orientation étant relative à la direction longitudinale des particules de coke en aiguilles ; et le tri des particules de coke en aiguilles sur la base de la valeur de paramètre d'ordre pour obtenir une poudre de coke en aiguilles comprenant une pluralité de particules de coke en aiguilles triées.
