This display device is provided with a display substrate, and a filter part disposed on the display surface side of the display substrate. The filter part has a first sub-pixel region provided with a first colour filter, a second sub-pixel region provided with a second colour filter, a third sub-pixel region provided with a third colour filter, and a fourth sub-pixel region which is achromatic. The display substrate includes a plurality of pixels provided so that, in units of sub-pixels, white, black, and red can be independently switched. The pixels include a first sub-pixel overlapping the first sub-pixel region, a second sub-pixel overlapping the second sub-pixel region, a third sub-pixel overlapping the third sub-pixel region, and a fourth sub-pixel overlapping the fourth sub-pixel region.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage qui est pourvu d'un substrat d'affichage, et d'une partie à filtre disposée sur le côté surface d'affichage du substrat d'affichage. La partie à filtre a une première région de sous-pixel pourvue d'un premier filtre de couleur, une deuxième région de sous-pixel pourvue d'un deuxième filtre de couleur, une troisième région de sous-pixel pourvue d'un troisième filtre de couleur, et une quatrième région de sous-pixel qui est achromatique.
