Disclosed is a composite substrate for an electro-optical element. The composite substrate is provided with: an electro-optical crystal substrate having an electro-optical effect; a low refractive index layer being in contact with the electro-optical crystal substrate and having a lower refractive index than the electro-optical crystal substrate; and a support substrate bonded to the low refractive index layer with at least a bonding layer therebetween. In this composite substrate, at least one of a plurality of interfaces between the low refractive index layer and the support substrate has a higher roughness than an interface between the electro-optical crystal substrate and the low refractive index layer.

La présente invention concerne un substrat composite pour un dispositif électro-optique. Le substrat composite comprend un substrat de cristal électro-optique ayant un effet électro-optique ; une couche à faible indice de réfraction étant en contact avec le substrat de cristal électro-optique et ayant un indice de réfraction inférieur à celui du substrat de cristal électro-optique ; et un substrat de support lié à la couche à faible indice de réfraction avec au moins une couche de liaison entre eux. Dans ce substrat composite, au moins l'une d'une pluralité d'interfaces entre la couche à faible indice de réfraction et le substrat de support présente une rugosité supérieure à celle d'une interface entre le substrat de cristal électro-optique et la couche à faible indice de réfraction.

電気光学素子のための複合基板を開示する。複合基板は、電気光学効果を有する電気光学結晶基板と、電気光学結晶基板に接しているとともに電気光学結晶基板よりも屈折率の低い低屈折率層と、低屈折率層に少なくとも接合層を介して接合された支持基板とを備える。この複合基板では、低屈折率層と支持基板との間に存在する複数の界面の少なくとも一つが、電気光学結晶基板と低屈折率層との間の界面よりも、粗面度が大きい界面である。
