An injecting device includes a housing having a longitudinal axis extending. A dose setting member is rotatable in the housing in a first or second direction about the longitudinal axis. A plunger extends through a bore of the dose setting member and into a bore of a barrel engaged with the housing. Pushing on an arm extending through a slot in the housing rotates the dose setting member in the first direction. As it rotates, indicia on the dose setting member are progressively displayed through an aperture in the housing. An actuator is engaged to release the dose setting member to rotate in the second direction and this rotation causes the plunger to move axially within the barrel's bore and push the pre-set dose of fluid therefrom. The dose setting member remains in a constant axial position within the housing during rotation in each of the first and second directions.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'injection comprenant un boîtier doté d'un axe longitudinal étendu. Un élément de réglage de dose tourne dans le boîtier dans une première ou une seconde direction autour de l'axe longitudinal. Un piston traverse l'alésage de l'élément de réglage de dose et l'alésage d'un cylindre en prise avec le boîtier. Une poussée sur un bras traversant une fente dans le boîtier fait tourner l'élément de réglage de dose dans la première direction. Pendant sa rotation, des informations sur l'élément de réglage de dose sont progressivement affichées à travers une ouverture dans le boîtier. Un actionneur est enclenché pour libérer l'élément de réglage de dose et le faire tourner dans la seconde direction, et cette rotation provoque le déplacement axial du piston à l'intérieur de l'alésage du cylindre et pousse la dose de fluide prédéfinie hors de celui-ci. L'élément de réglage de dose reste dans une position axiale constante à l'intérieur du boîtier pendant la rotation dans chacune des première et seconde directions.
