Es wird ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines Verbrennungsmotors mit Durchführung einer Einspritzmengenkorrektur beschrieben. Eine Gesamteinspritzmenge pro Puls eines Injektors wird in eine Vielzahl von kleineren gleichen Mengenpulsen aufgeteilt, wobei die kleineren Mengenpulse im ballistischen Injektorbetrieb ausgeführt werden. Auf der Basis dieses Schrittes wird eine entsprechende Offset-Korrektur ausgeführt. Nach angewandter Offset-Korrektur erfolgt vorzugsweise eine weitere Korrektur im linearen Injektorbetrieb. Hierdurch wird eine zusätzliche Alternative zur Durchführung einer Einspritzmengenkorrektur ohne zusätzliche sensorische Hardware bereitgestellt.

The invention relates to a method for operating an internal combustion engine performing an injection quantity correction. A total injection quantity per pulse of an injector is divided into a plurality of smaller identical quantity pulses, wherein the smaller quantity pulses are executed in the ballistic injector operation. A corresponding offset correction is carried out on the basis of this step. After the offset correction is applied, a further correction preferably takes place in the linear injector operation. This provides an additional alternative for performing an injection quantity correction without additional sensory hardware.

La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de faire fonctionner un moteur à combustion interne avec mise en œuvre d'une correction de quantité d'injection. Une quantité d'injection totale par impulsion d'un injecteur est divisée en une pluralité de plus petites impulsions de quantité identiques, les plus petites impulsions de quantité étant effectuées en mode d'injection balistique. Une correction de décalage correspondante est effectuée sur la base de cette étape. Une fois la correction de décalage appliquée, une autre correction s'effectue de préférence dans le mode d'injection linéaire. Cela fournit ainsi une alternative additionnelle à la mise en œuvre d'une correction de quantité d'injection sans matériel de détection supplémentaire.
