Provided are a camera module and a manufacturing method therefor, and a terminal, relating to the technical field of cameras, and the camera module can improve the screen occupancy ratio of a terminal. The camera module comprises a circuit board, wherein the circuit board comprises a first end and a second end opposite the first end in a first horizontal direction, and the circuit board has a first surface and a second surface facing away from the first surface; a photosensitive chip arranged at the first surface of the circuit board, and the photosensitive chip comprises a photosensitive region and a non-photosensitive region surrounding the periphery of the photosensitive region; a support arranged on the first surface of the circuit board and surrounding the periphery of the photosensitive chip, and at least one side of the support is an open side, and an accommodation space is arranged between a surface, facing the circuit board, of the open side and the first surface of the circuit board; and a sealing colloid is filled in the accommodation space. According to the camera module provided in the present disclosure, the space utilization rate is improved, the width of the open side of the camera module support is reduced, and finally, the screen occupancy ratio of the terminal is improved, improving user perception and usage experience.
