A method for making a room temperature stable and nanoscale broadband tunable light emitter. The method is scalable and suitable for industry applications. The fabricated device exhibits tunable light emission in a wavelength range between 590nm and 720nm (corresponding to a 130 nm bandwidth). This tunable broadband light emitter can be used for optoelectronic applications including fiber optics technologies, optical communication technologies, nanoscale light emitting diodes, and nanolasers.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un émetteur de lumière accordable à large bande stable à température ambiante et à l'échelle nanométrique. Le procédé est évolutif et approprié pour des applications industrielles. Le dispositif fabriqué présente une émission de lumière accordable dans une plage de longueurs d'onde comprise entre 590 nm et 720 nm (correspondant à une bande passante de 130 nm). Cet émetteur de lumière à large bande accordable peut être utilisé pour des applications optoélectroniques comprenant des technologies de fibres optiques, des technologies de communication optique, des diodes électroluminescentes à l'échelle nanométrique et des nanolasers.
