Interference caused by passive intermodulation (PIM) can be automatically detected at receivers in a wireless telecommunications network, and the accuracy of PIM detection can be increased by de-weighting or ignoring time slots in which non-PIM interference is detected at a target receiver.

L'interférence provoquée par une intermodulation passive (PIM) peut être automatiquement détectée au niveau de récepteurs dans un réseau de télécommunications sans fil, et la précision de la détection de PIM peut être augmentée par une dé-pondération ou l'ignorance de créneaux de temps dans lesquels une interférence non PIM est détectée au niveau d'un récepteur cible.
