In an aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE), downlink control information (DCI) having a resource allocation of allocated physical resource blocks (PRBs). The method additionally includes employing at least one of a) a wideband decoder, b) a wideband channel estimator, c) a bandwidth-specific decoder, or d) a bandwidth-specific channel estimator for wireless communications based at least on a feature of the resource allocation in the DCI. In other aspects a UE transmits, to a base station, an indication of UE capabilities regarding support of wideband physical resource group (PRG) for various transmission time interval (TTI) durations.

Selon un aspect, un procédé de communication sans fil consiste à recevoir, au moyen d'un équipement utilisateur (UE), des informations de commande de liaison descendante (DCI) comprenant une attribution de ressources de blocs de ressources physiques (PRB) attribués. Le procédé consiste également à utiliser au moins l'un des éléments suivants : a) un décodeur à large bande ; b) un estimateur de canal à large bande ; c) un décodeur spécifique à la bande passante ; ou d) un estimateur de canal spécifique à la bande passante pour des communications sans fil basées au moins sur une caractéristique de l'attribution de ressources dans les DCI. Selon d'autres aspects, un UE transmet, à une station de base, une indication des capacités de l'UE concernant le support d'un groupe de ressources physiques à large bande (PRG) pour diverses durées d'intervalle de temps de transmission (TTI).
