Methods and systems for preventing spacecraft damage include identifying (302) a space weather event that corresponds to a spacecraft system failure. A spacecraft system is determined (308) that causes the spacecraft system failure, triggered by the space weather event. A corrective action (310) is performed on the determined spacecraft system to prevent spacecraft system failures from being triggered by future space weather events.

L'invention concerne des procédés et des systèmes permettant d'empêcher un endommagement d'engin spatial consistant à identifier (302) un événement météorologique spatial qui correspond à une défaillance de système d'engin spatial. Il est déterminé qu'un système d'engin spatial (308) provoque une défaillance de système d'engin spatial, déclenchée par l'événement météorologique spatial.
