Abstract

A network function (NF) repository function (NRF) suitable for use in a 5G mobile network utilizing segment routing (SR) is described. The first interface of the NRF may be an Nmf interface with a service discovery function. The second interface of the NRF may be for use with a SR path information obtaining function for interfacing with a SR path computation entity (SR-PCE). The service discovery function may be further configured to discover NF instances based on identifying an NF instance being associated with SR path information that accords to least one service, application, or subscription requirement obtained according to the discovery request.

L'invention concerne une fonction de référentiel (NRF) de fonctions de réseau (NF) convenant pour une utilisation dans un réseau mobile 5G utilisant le routage de segments (SR). La première interface de la NRF peut être une interface Nmf dotée d'une fonction de découverte de services. La seconde interface de la NRF peut être destinée à une utilisation avec une fonction d'obtention d'informations de trajet de SR pour s'interfacer avec une entité de calcul de trajet de SR (SR-PCE). La fonction de découverte de services peut être en outre configurée pour découvrir des instances de NF sur la base de l'identification d'une instance de NF qui est associée aux informations de trajet de SR qui se conforme à au moins une exigence de service, d'application ou d'abonnement obtenue selon la demande de découverte.
