Abstract

A system for recording events on a distributed ledger includes: a server; a terminal including a terminal processor executing an OS; and a data capture device including a housing, a data capture assembly configured to capture product data, a communication interface, a memory including a first driver and/or a firmware, and a processor executing instructions in the memory. The instructions include instructions to transmit the product data to the terminal through the communication interface. The terminal includes a second driver enabling the OS to communicate with the data capture device to accept the product data. At least one of the first and second drivers and the firmware includes a transmission flag changeable between activated and deactivated states. The activated state causes the product data to be transmitted to the server. Upon the product data satisfying a recordation condition, the product data is recorded, from the server, to the distributed ledger.

Selon l'invention, un système d'enregistrement d'évènements sur un grand livre distribué comprend : un serveur ; un terminal contenant un processeur de terminal exécutant un OS ; et un dispositif de capture de données comprenant un boîtier, un ensemble de capture de données configuré pour capturer des données de produit, une interface de communication, une mémoire contenant un premier pilote et/ou un micrologiciel, et un processeur exécutant des instructions dans la mémoire. Les instructions contiennent des instructions pour transmettre les données de produit au terminal par l'intermédiaire de l'interface de communication. Le terminal contient un deuxième pilote permettant à l'OS de communiquer avec le dispositif de capture de données pour accepter les données de produit. Au moins un des premier et deuxième pilotes et du micrologiciel contient un indicateur de transmission pouvant être changé entre un état activé et un état désactivé. L'état activé provoque la transmission des données de produit au serveur. Lorsque les données de produit respectent une condition d'enregistrement, les données de produit sont enregistrées, à partir du serveur, sur le grand livre distribué.
