Abstract

The current social agenda in Latin America is, in essence, that of urban development. Almost 80% of the population in the region lives in urban centres and this number will reach close to 90% in the coming decades. Urban mobility is therefore a significant factor for the economic productivity of a city and for the quality of life of its inhabitants, as well as access to basic health and education services. This invention provides a lithium-ion battery to be used in electric vehicles, which includes functions within a control card in the battery itself and which provides connection to the cloud, as well as hardware and software for controlling the traction and steering of the vehicle, a system for managing charging and discharging, and measuring and reporting to the cloud about available energy and the temperature in the battery. The integration of the components according to the invention has resulted in the following characteristics: 1) personal security, preventing the vehicle from travelling in areas that are restricted to small and low-speed vehicles; 2) property security, discouraging the stealing of a vehicle or battery that can only be used within a defined perimeter or certain streets; 3) intelligent vehicle-charging management, sending data relating to the position and state of the battery and calculating when said vehicle should go to the charging station for the battery to be replaced with a charged battery.

En la actualidad la agenda social latinoamericana es en esencia una agenda de desarrollo urbano. Casi el 80% de la población de la región vive en centros urbanos y se llegará a cerca del 90% en las próximas décadas. La movilidad urbana es entonces un factor determinante tanto para la productividad económica de la ciudad como para la calidad de vida de sus ciudadanos y el acceso a servicios básicos de salud y educación. Esta invención hace disponible una batería de iones de litio para ser utilizada en vehículos eléctricos, la cual incorpora funciones dentro de una tarjeta de control en la misma batería que le dé capacidad de conexión a la nube, así como hardware y software de control de tracción y dirección del vehículo, sistema de gestión de carga y descarga, medición y reporte hacía la nube de energía disponible y temperatura en la batería. La integración de los componentes de la invención desarrollada, objeto de este documento, resulta en las siguientes características: 1) Seguridad personal, al impedir que el vehículo circule por zonas restringidas a vehículos de tamaño pequeño y baja velocidad. 2) Seguridad patrimonial, al desmotivar el robo de un vehículo o batería que sólo podrá usarse en un perímetro y calles definidas. 3) Gestión inteligente de carga del vehículo, al enviar datos de su posición y estado de la batería la cual se calcula al momento en que deberá de dirigirse a la estación de carga para reemplazar la batería por una cargada.

Dans l'actualité, l'agenda social latino-américain est essentiellement un agenda de développement urbain. Presque 80% de la population de la région vit dans des centres urbains et cette population atteindra environ 90% dans les prochaines décennies. La mobilité urbaine est donc un facteur déterminant aussi bien pour la productivité économique de la ville que pour la qualité de la vie de ses citoyens et l'accès à des services de bases de santé et d'éducation. Cette invention rend disponible une batterie lithium-ion pour qu'elle soit utilisée dans des véhicules électriques, laquelle batterie comprend des fonctions dans une carte de commande de la batterie même qui lui donne une capacité de connexion au nuage, ainsi qu'au matériel et au logiciel de commande de traction et de conduite du véhicule, un système de gestion de charge et de décharge, de mesure et de rapport de l'énergie disponible et de la température de la batterie, adressés au nuage. L'intégration des composants de l'invention développée, objet de ce document, débouche sur les caractéristiques suivantes : 1) la sécurité personnelle, en empêchant au véhicule de circuler dans des zones limitées à des véhicules de petite taille et faible vitesse ; 2) la sécurité de la propriété, en décourageant le vol d'un véhicule ou d'une batterie qu'on pourra utiliser uniquement dans un périmètre et des rues établies ; 3) la gestion intelligente de la charge du véhicule, lors de l'envoi de données de sa position et de l'état de la batterie, laquelle charge est calculée au moment où il faudra se diriger vers la station de charge pour remplacer la batterie par une batterie chargée.
