Disclosed are a method for decoding a video signal and an apparatus for same. Specifically, an intra-prediction mode-based image processing method may comprise the steps of: confirming whether the most probable mode (MPM) is to be applied to the current block, the MPM being a mode, as the intra-prediction mode of the current block, derived from a neighboring intra-predicted block of the current block; if the MPM is to be applied to the current block, creating an MPM list on the basis of whether the intra-prediction modes of the neighboring blocks to the left and top of the current block satisfy previously defined conditions; acquiring, from within the MPM list, an MPM index indicating a particular intra-prediction mode; deriving neighboring reference samples of the current block; and generating a prediction block for the current block on the basis of the intra-prediction mode specified by the MPM index and reference samples.

L'invention concerne un procédé de décodage d'un signal vidéo et un appareil associé. En particulier, un procédé de traitement d'image basé sur un mode d'intra-prédiction peut comprendre les étapes consistant à : confirmer si le mode le plus probable (MPM) doit être appliqué au bloc courant, le MPM étant un mode, en tant que mode d'intra-prédiction du bloc courant, dérivé d'un bloc intra-prédit voisin du bloc courant; si le MPM doit être appliqué au bloc courant, créer une liste de MPM sur la base du fait que les modes d'intra-prédiction des blocs voisins à la gauche et en haut du bloc courant satisfont des conditions définies précédemment; acquérir, à partir de la liste de MPM, un indice de MPM indiquant un mode d'intra-prédiction particulier; dériver des échantillons de référence voisins du bloc courant; et générer un bloc de prédiction du bloc courant sur la base du mode d'intra-prédiction spécifié par l'indice de MPM et par les échantillons de référence.

본 발명에서는 비디오 신호를 디코딩을 수행하는 방법 및 이를 위한 장치가 개시된다. 구체적으로, 인트라 예측 모드 기반으로 영상을 디코딩하는 방법에 있어서, 현재 블록에 MPM(Most Probable Mode)이 적용되는지 여부를 확인하는 단계, 여기서 상기 MPM은 상기 현재 블록의 인트라 예측 모드가 상기 현재 블록 주변의 인트라 예측된 블록으로부터 유도되는 모드를 나타냄; 상기 현재 블록에 MPM이 적용되는 경우, 상기 현재 블록의 좌측 및 상측 이웃 블록의 인트라 예측 모드가 미리 정의된 조건들을 만족하는지 여부에 기초하여 MPM 리스트를 구성하는 단계; 상기 MPM 리스트 내에서 특정 인트라 예측 모드를 지시하는 MPM 인덱스(index)를 획득하는 단계; 상기 현재 블록 주변의 참조 샘플들을 유도하는 단계; 및 상기 MPM 인덱스에 의해 특정되는 인트라 예측 모드 및 상기 참조 샘플에 기초하여 상기 현재 블록의 예측 블록을 생성하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
