L'invention concerne un appareil de cuisson apte à remplir une fonction de réflexion de chaleur tout en assurant une transmittance par l'intermédiaire d'une couche variable appliquée sur une feuille de verre formant une porte. Ledit appareil comprend une chambre de cuisson et une porte configurée pour ouvrir et fermer la chambre de cuisson et pourvue d'une pluralité de feuilles de verre, ladite porte comprenant une couche variable disposée sur au moins une des feuilles de verre de la pluralité et une variable de transmittance de lumière visible en fonction d'une température.
