A sintered body containing zinc, magnesium and oxygen as constituting elements, wherein: the atomic ratio of zinc to the sum of zinc and magnesium [Zn/(Zn+Mg)] is 0.20-0.75; the atomic ratio of magnesium to the sum of zinc and magnesium [Mg/(Zn+Mg)] is 0.25-0.80; and the result of X-ray diffractometry indicates the presence of a single crystal structure.

L'invention concerne un corps fritté contenant du zinc, du magnésium et de l'oxygène en tant qu'éléments constitutifs, le rapport atomique du zinc à la somme du zinc et du magnésium [Zn/ (Zn + Mg)] étant de 0,20 à 0,75 ; le rapport atomique du magnésium à la somme du zinc et du magnésium [Mg/ (Zn + Mg)] étant de 0,25 à 0,80 ; et le résultat de la diffractométrie de rayons X indiquant la présence d'une structure monocristalline.
