In a casing (10) housing a motor unit of an in-wheel motor drive device, a bearing fitting (63) where a roller bearing (28) is fitted is provided in a position between a first space (S10) on the rotor (23) side and a second space (S20) on the opposite side, the first space (S10) and the second space (S20) being arranged separated from each other in the axial direction. The bearing fitting has a protruding part (63p) which protrudes towards the first space beyond the position (L1) of the end face of the roller bearing arranged facing the first space, and which receives lubricant supplied to the roller bearing. An exhaust path (48) for discharging the lubricant received in the protruding part to the second space (S20) is formed in the bearing fitting.

Selon l’invention, dans un carter (10) logeant une unité moteur d'un dispositif d'entraînement de moteur-roue, un raccord de palier (63) où est monté un roulement à rouleaux (28) est disposé dans une position entre un premier espace (S10) sur le côté rotor (23) et un second espace (S20) sur le côté opposé, le premier espace (S10) et le second espace (S20) étant agencés séparés l'un de l'autre dans la direction axiale. Le raccord de palier présente une partie saillante (63p) qui fait saillie vers le premier espace, au-delà de la position (L1) de la face terminale du roulement à rouleaux disposé en regard du premier espace, et qui reçoit le lubrifiant fourni au roulement à rouleaux. Un trajet d'échappement (48) destiné à évacuer le lubrifiant reçu dans la partie saillante vers le second espace (S20) est formé dans le raccord de palier.

インホイールモータ駆動装置のモータ部を収容するケーシング(10)には、軸方向に互いに離れて配置されたロータ(23)側の第1空間(S10)とその反対側の第2空間(S20)との間に位置して、転がり軸受(28)が嵌め入れられる軸受嵌合部(63)が設けられている。軸受嵌合部は、第1空間に面するように配置された転がり軸受の端面の位置(L1)よりも第1空間側に突出して、転がり軸受に供給された潤滑油を受ける突出部(63p)を有しており、軸受嵌合部には、突出部において受けた潤滑油を第2空間(S20)に排出するための排出路(48)が形成されている。
