The purpose of the present invention is to provide a high-performance light guide plate in which offset amounts in the reflection angle of light in the light guide plate is minimized and which can be made thinner. The present invention provides an optical material for a light guide plate that has a refractive index of 1.70 or greater, a plate thickness of 1.1 mm or less, and a surface waviness of less than 50 × 10-4 degree.

L'objet de la présente invention est de fournir une plaque de guide d'ondes optique à haute performance dans laquelle les quantités de décalage dans l'angle de réflexion de la lumière dans la plaque de guide d'ondes optique sont réduites au minimum et qui peut être rendue plus mince.
