Video processing method, apparatus and computer program product are disclosed. The video processing method comprises: determining a quantization parameter to be used in a dependent scalar quantization of a current video block in case that the dependent scalar quantization is enabled for the current video block, wherein a set of admissible reconstruction value for a transform coefficient corresponding to the dependent scalar quantization depends on at least one transform coefficient level that precedes a current transform coefficient level; and performing the dependent scalar quantization on the current video block in accordance with the determined quantization parameter, wherein the determined quantization parameter is also applied to a video process different from the dependent scalar quantization using a quantization parameter as an input parameter of the current video block.

L'invention concerne un procédé, un appareil et un produit-programme informatique. Le procédé de traitement vidéo consiste à : déterminer un paramètre de quantification à utiliser lors d'une quantification scalaire dépendante d'un bloc vidéo courant dans un cas dans lequel la quantification scalaire dépendante est activée pour le bloc vidéo courant, un ensemble de valeurs de reconstruction admissibles d'un coefficient de transformée correspondant à la quantification scalaire dépendante dépendant d'au moins un niveau de coefficient de transformée qui précède un niveau de coefficient de transformée courant ; et appliquer la quantification scalaire dépendante au bloc vidéo courant conformément au paramètre de quantification déterminé, le paramètre de quantification déterminé étant également appliqué à un processus vidéo différent de la quantification scalaire dépendante à l'aide d'un paramètre de quantification en tant que paramètre d'entrée du bloc vidéo courant.
