Abstract

There is provided a nozzle for a fan assembly. The nozzle comprises an air inlet, a first air outlet and a second air outlet that are oriented in convergent directions, and a valve for controlling the first and second air outlets. The valve comprises one or more valve members that are moveable to simultaneously adjust the size of the first air outlet and inversely adjust the size of the second air outlet. The nozzle further comprises a third air outlet and a fourth air outlet, the third air outlet being opposite the fourth air outlet, the third and fourth air outlets being oriented in convergent directions, and the third air outlet and the fourth air outlet each being substantially perpendicular to each of the first and second air outlets.

La présente invention concerne une buse destinée à un ensemble ventilateur. La buse comprenant une entrée d'air, une première sortie d'air ainsi qu'une seconde sortie d'air qui sont orientées dans des directions convergentes, et une vanne destinée à réguler les première et deuxième sorties d'air. La vanne comprend un ou plusieurs éléments de vanne qui sont mobiles pour régler simultanément la taille de la première sortie d'air et ajuster inversement la taille de la seconde sortie d'air. La buse comprend en outre une troisième sortie d'air et une quatrième sortie d'air, la troisième sortie d'air étant opposée à la quatrième sortie d'air, les troisième et quatrième sorties d'air étant orientées dans des directions convergentes, et la troisième sortie d'air et la quatrième sortie d'air étant chacune sensiblement perpendiculaires à chacune des première et deuxième sorties d'air.
