Disclosed is an optical parametric oscillator that comprises an optical cavity, a pump laser (1), an intra-cavity non-linear optical crystal (5), a modulation device configured to electro-optically modulate the non-linear optical crystal (5) itself, and an active servo-control system comprising: - a modulation device generating a modulation signal configured to electro-optically modulate the non-linear optical crystal (5) itself, - a detection system configured to detect a signal representative of a power of the signal and/or complementary pulses generated at the output of the optical parametric oscillator, as a function of the modulation signal (71), - a computer configured to calculate an error signal representative of a difference between a predetermined maximum power value of the signal and/or complementary pulses and the detected power signal as a function of time, and - a feedback device configured to modify the optical length of the optical cavity of the optical parametric oscillator as a function of the error signal.

Un oscillateur paramétrique optique comprend une cavité optique, un laser de pompe (1), un cristal optique non-linéaire (5) intra-cavité, un dispositif de modulation configuré pour moduler de manière électro-optique le cristal optique non-linéaire (5) lui-même, et un système d'asservissement actif comprenant : - un dispositif de modulation générant un signal de modulation configuré pour moduler de manière électro-optique le cristal optique non-linéaire (5) lui- même, - un système de détection configuré pour détecter un signal représentatif d'une puissance des impulsions signal et/ou complémentaire générées en sortie de l'oscillateur paramétrique optique, en fonction du signal de modulation (71 ), - un calculateur configuré pour calculer un signal d'erreur représentatif d'une différence entre une valeur prédéterminée de puissance maximale des impulsions signal et/ou complémentaire et le signal de puissance détecté en fonction du temps, et - un dispositif de contre-réaction configuré pour modifier la longueur optique de la cavité optique de l'oscillateur paramétrique optique en fonction du signal d'erreur.
