The invention relates to a method for managing captive preforms (12) immobilised in a heating station (10) during an interruption in production, the preforms (10) following a production flow (P), the heating station (10) comprising: a device (14) for conveying preforms (12); and a heating cavity (30) with at least one row of monochromatic electromagnetic radiation emitters (32) around the edge thereof; characterised in that the method consists in ejecting, from the production flow (P), the so-called "cold" captive preforms, which have been immobilised before having been exposed to the electromagnetic radiation emitted by the emitters (32), and guiding them towards a recycling flow (42), and in ejecting, from the production flow (P), the so-called "hot" captive preforms, which have been at least partially exposed to the electromagnetic radiation emitted by the emitters (32), and guiding them towards a waste flow (38) which is separate from the recycling flow (42).

L'invention concerne un procédé de gestion de préformes (12) captives immobilisées dans une station (10) de chauffage pendant une interruption de production, les préformes (10) suivant un flux (P) de production, la station (10) de chauffage comportant : - un dispositif (14) de convoyage de préformes (12), - une cavité (30) de chauffe bordée d'au moins une rangée d'émetteurs (32) de rayonnement électromagnétique monochromatique; caractérisé en ce que le procédé consiste à éjecter du flux (P) de production les préformes captives dites "froides", qui ont été immobilisées avant d'avoir été exposées au rayonnement électromagnétique émis par les émetteurs (32), vers un flux (42) de recyclage, et à éjecter du flux (P) de production les préformes captives dites "chaudes", qui ont été au moins partiellement exposées au rayonnement électromagnétique émis par les émetteurs (32), vers un flux (38) de rebut séparé du flux (42) de recyclage.
