Abstract
(EN)
According to an aspect, there is provided a method and system for predicting a forest stand target attribute. The solution uses direct indicator data about forest stands, indirect indicator data about the forest stands and empirical measurement data about the forest stands to build a trained model for a forest stand target attribute. Using the trained model, it is possible to predict, for a given forest stand, the value of the forest stand target attribute.

L'invention, selon un aspect, concerne un procédé et un système de prédiction d'un attribut cible de peuplement forestier. La solution fait appel à des données d'indicateur direct concernant des peuplements forestiers, à des données d'indicateur indirect concernant les peuplements forestiers et à des données de mesure empirique concernant les peuplements forestier pour construire un modèle entraîné pour un attribut cible de peuplement forestier. À l'aide du modèle entraîné, il est possible de prédire, pour un peuplement forestier donné, la valeur de l'attribut cible de peuplement forestier.
