Disclosed is a method for the production of a porous polymer membrane suitable for liquid filtration or analyte capture, comprising the steps of: providing a flowable composition (100) on a substrate (220) the composition including at least: photo-activatable monomer molecules, photo activation initiator molecules and photo- activation quencher molecules; providing one or more pulses (L) of laser light at at least one focal point in the composition of sufficient energy to locally polymerise the composition; moving the or each focal point relative to the previously polymerised composition in a continuous or stepwise predetermined manner to a multiplicity of further positions;and repeating the pulse(s) at those further positions such that a three dimensional matrix of the composition is polymerised leaving unpolymerized areas of a size equivalent to conventional polymer membrane pores.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour la production d'une membrane polymère poreuse appropriée pour la filtration de liquide ou la capture d'analyte, comprenant les étapes consistant à : fournir une composition fluide (100) sur un substrat (220) la composition comprenant au moins : des molécules de monomère photo-activables, des molécules d'initiateur de photo-activation et des molécules d'extincteur de photo-activation; fournir une ou plusieurs impulsions (L) de lumière laser au niveau d'au moins un point focal dans la composition d'énergie suffisante pour polymériser localement la composition; déplacer le ou chaque point focal par rapport à la composition polymérisée précédemment de manière continue ou pas à pas jusqu'à une multiplicité d'autres positions; et répéter l'impulsion(s) au niveau de ces autres positions de telle sorte qu'une matrice tridimensionnelle de la composition est polymérisée, laissant des zones non polymérisées d'une taille équivalente à des pores de membrane polymère classiques.
