27 Abstract 'System and method for pyrolysing organic waste' The invention provides a system for pyrolysing organic waste. The system comprises a conical housing (4) configured to temporarily, substantially hermetically, enclose the waste and a mixing device provided with a drive shaft rotatably mounted relative to the housing and a conical mixing body (25) configured inside the housing to fluidise the waste, which mixing body fixedly attached substantially does not touch the housing. The system further comprises heating means (24) for heating the side wall of the housing. This system makes it possible to carry out the processing of organic waste in a batch process. The mixing body prevents a portion of the waste from sticking together by fluidising the waste and keeping it fluidised, whereby the heat generated by the heating means can gradually spread through the waste inside the housing.

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de pyrolyse de déchets organiques. Le système comprend un boîtier conique (4) configuré pour renfermer temporairement, de manière pratiquement hermétique, les déchets et un dispositif de mélange pourvu d'un arbre d'entraînement monté rotatif par rapport au boîtier, et un corps de mélange conique (25) disposé à l'intérieur du boîtier pour fluidiser les déchets, ledit corps de mélange étant fixé à demeure pratiquement sans toucher le boîtier. Le système comprend en outre des moyens de chauffage (24) pour chauffer la paroi latérale du boîtier. Ce système permet de mener à bien le traitement de déchets organiques selon un procédé discontinu. Le corps de mélange empêche une partie des déchets de se coller les uns aux autres en les fluidisant et en les maintenant fluidisés, la chaleur générée par les moyens de chauffage pouvant se diffuser progressivement à travers les déchets à l'intérieur du boîtier.
