The invention relates to a process for preparing fatty acid chlorides. In a subsequent step, the fatty acid chlorides can be used to prepare N-acyl amino acid salts. The process comprises the formation of a fatty acid chloride in an amine catalyzed reaction of a fatty acid with phosphorous trichloride, thionyl chloride or phosgene, preferably thionyl chloride. The process for preparing N-acyl amino acid salts further comprises the reaction of the fatty acid chloride with an amino acid or an amino ethane sulfonic acid.

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation de chlorures d'acides gras. Dans une étape ultérieure, les chlorures d'acides gras peuvent être utilisés pour préparer des sels d'acides aminés N-acylés. Le procédé comprend la formation d'un chlorure d'acide gras dans une réaction catalysée par amine d'un acide gras avec du trichlorure de phosphore, du chlorure de thionyle ou du phosgène, de préférence du chlorure de thionyle. Le procédé de préparation de sels d'acides aminés N-acylés comprend en outre la réaction du chlorure d'acide gras avec un acide aminé ou un acide aminoéthane sulfonique.
