Die Verbindungseinheit (1; 100) umfasst eine Verbindungsschraube (10; 110) mit einem Kopf (12; 112) in Form eines ersten Kugelsegments sowie einem sich davon erstreckenden Schaft (16; 116). Der Schaft (16; 116) weist ein erstes Außengewinde (18; 118) einer ersten Gangrichtung auf. Weiterhin umfasst die Verbindungseinheit (1; 100) ein hohlzylinderförmiges Basiselement (30; 130), das folgende Merkmal aufweist: benachbart zu einem ersten axialen Ende (32; 132) ein zweites Außengewinde (34; 134) einer zweiten Gangrichtung zur Befestigung im ersten Bauteil A und radial innen einen ersten Bereich (35; 135) mit einem ersten Innendurchmesser, an einem zweiten axialen Ende (36; 136) ist eine Durchgangsöffnung (38; 138) mit einem zweiten Innendurchmesser vorgesehen, der kleiner ist als der erste Innendurchmesser, und eine Außenseite des Basiselements (30; 130) ist in Form eines zweiten Kugelsegments (40; 140) gestaltet. The present invention relates to a connection unit (1; 100) for connecting a first component A to a second component B with a space in between. The connection unit (1; 100) comprises a connection screw (10; 110) having a head (12; 112) in the form of a first ball segment and a shank (16; 116) extending therefrom. The shank (16; 116) comprises an external thread (18; 118) having a first thread direction. The connection unit (1; 100) furthermore comprises a hollow-cylindrical base element (30; 130) having the following features: adjacently to a first axial end (32; 132), a second external thread (34; 134) having a second thread direction for fastening in the first component A, and radially inwardly a first region (35; 135) having a first inner diameter; a through-opening (38; 138) is provided on a second axial end (36; 136) and has a second inner diameter which is smaller than the first inner diameter, and an outer side of the base element (30; 130) is designed in the form of a second ball segment (40; 140). The first region (35; 135) and the through-opening (38; 138) are spaced axially from one another and are connected by a transition region (44; 144), which at least partly provides a bearing surface (46; 146) for the head (12; 112) of the connection screw (10; 110), and the shank (16; 116) of the connection screw (10; 110) extends through the through-opening (38; 138).
