The present disclosure relates to an implantable cardiac pacemaker (1), wherein the pacemaker (1) is configured to apply pacing pulses to the heart of a person during operation of the pacemaker (1), and wherein the pacemaker (1) comprises a motion detection system that comprises a first module (10) and a second module (20), wherein the first module (10) is configured to continuously run during operation of the pacemaker (1), and wherein the second module (10) is configured to receive a trigger signal (S) to change from an idle state to an active state or to receive a further trigger signal (S') to change from an active state to an idle state, wherein an energy consumption per time unit of the second module (20) in the active state is larger than in the idle state, and wherein when the second module (20) is in its active state, the second module (20) is configured to execute a rate adaptation algorithm that adapts a rate of the pacing pulses to meet a metabolic demand of the person.

La présente invention porte sur un stimulateur cardiaque pouvant être implanté (1), le stimulateur cardiaque (1) étant conçu pour appliquer des impulsions de stimulation au cœur d'une personne pendant le fonctionnement du stimulateur cardiaque (1), ledit stimulateur (1) comprenant un système de détection de mouvement qui comprend un premier module (10) et un second module (20), le premier module (10) étant conçu pour fonctionner continuellement pendant le fonctionnement du stimulateur cardiaque (1), et le second module (10) étant conçu pour recevoir un signal de déclenchement (S) pour passer d'un état inactif à un état actif ou pour recevoir un autre signal de déclenchement (S') pour passer d'un état actif à un état inactif, la consommation d'énergie par unité temporelle du second module (20) dans l'état actif étant supérieure à celle dans l'état de repos, et lorsque le second module (20) est dans son état actif, le second module (20) est conçu pour exécuter un algorithme d'adaptation de fréquence qui adapte une fréquence des impulsions de stimulation pour satisfaire à la demande métabolique de la personne.
