According to an example aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for a cellular wireless device, comprising, obtaining, from a cellular base station, a first opportunity for an uplink data transmission on an unlicensed frequency band, wherein the first opportunity is within a first period reserved for first transmission opportunities on a frequency channel, upon detecting that the frequency channel is occupied at a beginning of the first opportunity, determining a second opportunistic resource for the uplink data transmission or a downlink transmission and receiving or transmitting using the second opportunistic resource.

L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à un dispositif cellulaire sans fil, comprenant : l'obtention, à partir d'une station cellulaire de base, d'une première opportunité pour une transmission de données de liaison montante sur une bande de fréquences sans licence, la première opportunité ayant lieu lors d'une première période réservée pour des premières opportunités de transmission sur un canal de fréquences ; lors de la détection du fait que le canal de fréquences est occupé au début de la première opportunité, la détermination d'une seconde ressource opportuniste pour la transmission de données de liaison montante ou pour une transmission de liaison descendante ; et la réception ou la transmission par la seconde ressource opportuniste.
