Disclosed in the present invention are a modified solid electrolyte membrane and a preparation method therefor, and a lithium battery. The modified solid electrolyte membrane comprises a basic membrane and a solid electrolyte layer. The solid electrolyte layer is formed by a coating slurry, the basic membrane being coated by the coating slurry, or the basic membrane being coated by the coating slurry and the coating slurry even permeating into the basic membrane; a thickness ratio of a coating layer on the basic membrane to the basic membrane is 10:1-1:10; the thickness of the coating layer ranges from 1 micrometer to 10 micrometers; the density ranges from 50% to 100%. The solid electrolyte layer is formed by a NASICON type solid electrolyte material, has a particle size smaller than 1 micrometer, and is specifically represented as Li 1+xA xB 2-x(PO 4) 3, wherein x ranges from 0 to 0.6, A is one or more of Al, Y, Ga, Cr, In, Fe, Se, or La, and B is one or more of Ti, Ge, Ta, Zr, Sn, Fe, V, or element hafnium Hf; after the solid electrolyte membrane is circularly formed, an X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy has a peak between 685 eV to 690 eV.
