Abstract

It provides laminates and articles formed from such laminates. In one aspect, a laminate comprises (a) a biaxially oriented polyethylene (BOPE) film comprising a polyethylene composition, wherein the polyethylene composition has a density of 0.910 to 0.940 g/cm 3, an MW HDF >95 greater than 135 kg/mol and an I HDF >95 greater than 42 kg/mol, wherein the BOPE film comprises at least 50 weight percent of the polyethylene composition based on the weight of the BOPE film; (b) a barrier adhesive layer comprising polyurethane; and (c) a polyethylene film, wherein the barrier adhesive layer adheres the BOPE film to the polyethylene film and wherein the laminate has an oxygen gas transmission rate of 700 cc/ [m 2-day] or less when measured according to ASTM D3985-05.

L'invention concerne des stratifiés et des articles formés à partir de tels stratifiés. Selon un aspect, un stratifié comprend (a) un film de polyéthylène bi-orienté (BOPE) comprenant une composition de polyéthylène, la composition de polyéthylène ayant une masse volumique de 0,910 à 0,940 g/cm3, une MWHDF > 95 supérieure à 135 kg/mol et un IHDF > 95 supérieur à 42 kg/mol, le film de BOPE constituant au moins 50 pour cent en poids de la composition de polyéthylène par rapport au poids du film de BOPE ; (b) une couche adhésive barrière comprenant du polyuréthane ; et (c) un film de polyéthylène, la couche adhésive barrière faisant adhérer le film de BOPE au film de polyéthylène et le stratifié ayant un taux de transmission de l'oxygène gazeux inférieur ou égal à 700 cc/[m2-jour] lorsqu'il est mesuré selon la norme ASTM D3985-05.
