Abstract

Aspects of the present disclosure pertain to systems and methods for enhancing brightfield or darkfield images to better enable nucleus detection. In some embodiments, the systems and methods described herein are useful for identifying membrane stain biomarkers as well as nuclear/cytoplasm stain biomarkers in stained images of biological samples. In some embodiments, the presently disclosed systems and methods enable quick and accurate nucleus detection in stained images of biological samples, especially for original stained images of biological samples where the nuclei appear faint.

L'invention concerne, selon des aspects, des systèmes et des procédés pour améliorer des images en champ clair ou en fond noir et permettre une meilleure détection de noyau. Dans certains modes de réalisation, les systèmes et les procédés de l'invention sont utiles pour identifier des biomarqueurs de coloration membranaire ainsi que des biomarqueurs de coloration nucléaire ou cytoplasmique dans des images colorées d'échantillons biologiques. Dans certains modes de réalisation, les systèmes et les procédés de l'invention permettent de détecter rapidement et avec précision un noyau dans des images colorées d'échantillons biologiques, notamment dans des images colorées originales d'échantillons biologiques où les noyaux apparaissent faiblement.
