Techniques are disclosed for a multi-tier system for predicting cardiac arrhythmia in a patient. In one example, a computing device processes parametric patient data and provider data for a patient to generate a long-term probability that a cardiac arrhythmia will occur in the patient within a first time period. In response to determining that the cardiac arrhythmia is likely to occur within the first time period, the computing device causes a medical device to process the parametric patient data to generate a short-term probability that the cardiac arrhythmia will occur in the patient within a second time period. In response to determining that the cardiac arrhythmia is likely to occur within the second time period, the medical device performs a remediative action to reduce the likelihood that the cardiac arrhythmia will occur.

L'invention concerne des techniques permettant à un système multiniveau de prédire une arythmie cardiaque chez un patient. Dans un exemple, un dispositif informatique traite des données paramétriques de patient et des données de fournisseur associées à un patient afin de générer une probabilité à long terme de survenue d'une arythmie cardiaque chez le patient au cours d'une première période de temps. En réponse à la détermination que l'arythmie cardiaque est susceptible de se produire pendant la première période de temps, le dispositif informatique amène un dispositif médical à traiter les données paramétriques de patient afin de générer une probabilité à court terme de survenue de l'arythmie cardiaque chez le patient au cours d'une seconde période de temps. En réponse à la détermination que l'arythmie cardiaque est susceptible de se produire pendant la seconde période de temps, le dispositif médical met en oeuvre une action corrective afin de réduire la probabilité de survenue de l'arythmie cardiaque.
