An apparatus and method for external anteversion correction of an intact bone may include a first arcuate segment, a second arcuate segment rotatably coupled to the first arcuate segment, a first pin extending from the first arcuate segment to a proximal segment of the intact bone, a second pin extending from the second arcuate segment to a distal segment of the intact bone, and a control mechanism attached to the first and second arcuate segments. The control mechanism may rotate the first arcuate segment relative to the second arcuate segment to exert torsional force on the intact bone between the proximal and distal segments of the intact bone, thereby externally reducing anteversion of the intact bone.

L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé de correction d'antéversion externe d'un os intact pouvant comprendre un premier segment arqué, un second segment arqué couplé rotatif au premier segment arqué, une première broche s'étendant du premier segment arqué à un segment proximal de l'os intact, une seconde broche s'étendant du second segment arqué à un segment distal de l'os intact, et un mécanisme de commande fixé aux premier et second segments arqués. Le mécanisme de commande peut faire tourner le premier segment arqué par rapport au second segment arqué pour exercer une force de torsion sur l'os intact entre les segments proximal et distal de l'os intact, ce qui permet de réduire l'antéversion de l'os intact.
