Abstract

An extruder (100) having an extruder crosshead (108), a die (104), and a die retaining assembly (106). The extruder crosshead has an annular major surface (114) while the die has a first die surface (145) having an outer portion that is facing and conformal to that major surface (114). The die also has a second die surface (140) opposed to the first die surface. The die-retaining assembly is attached to the extruder crosshead, evenly and variably pressing the second die surface with controlled pressure such that the substantially opposing first die surface is pressed into the major surface of the extruder crosshead. The die-retaining assembly also includes moveable elements (128, 129) which abut the die in order to move the die. The die-retaining assembly can be used to evenly reduce the pressure exerted on the second die surface so that the position adjustment elements can be used to more easily adjust the position of the die.

L'invention concerne une extrudeuse (100) présentant une tête d'équerre d'extrudeuse (108), une filière (104) et un ensemble de retenue de filière (106). La tête d'équerre d'extrudeuse présente une surface principale annulaire (114), pendant que la filière présente une première surface de filière (145) présentant une partie externe qui est en regard et conforme à ladite surface principale (114). La filière présente également une seconde surface de filière (140) opposée à la première surface de filière. L'ensemble de retenue de filière est fixé à la tête d'équerre d'extrudeuse, pressant de manière uniforme et variable la seconde surface de filière avec une pression contrôlée, de sorte que la première surface de filière sensiblement opposée soit pressée dans la surface principale de la tête d'équerre d'extrudeuse. L'ensemble de retenue de filière comprend également des éléments mobiles (128, 129) qui viennent en butée contre la filière afin de déplacer la filière. L'ensemble de retenue de filière peut être utilisé en vue de réduire de manière uniforme la pression exercée sur la seconde surface de filière, de telle sorte que les éléments de réglage de position peuvent être utilisés en vue de régler plus facilement la position de la filière.
