Systems and methods for implicit chemical resolution of vacuum gas oils and fit quality determination are disclosed. The systems and methods include utilizing an FT-IR spectrum of an unknown VGO composition, and a database of FT-IR spectra of known VGO compositions, to determine a model of composition for the unknown VGO composition. Additionally, the fit quality for the model of composition is determined by performing a partial least squares analysis on specific spectral regions of interest in the FT-IR spectrum of the unknown VGO composition.

L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de résolution chimique implicite de gasoil sous vide et de détermination de qualité d'ajustement. Les systèmes et les procédés comprennent l'utilisation d'un spectre FT-IR d'une composition de VGO inconnue et d'une base de données de spectres FT-IR de compositions de VGO connues pour déterminer un modèle de composition de la composition de VGO inconnue. De plus, la qualité d'ajustement du modèle de composition est déterminée par la réalisation d'une analyse partielle par les moindres carrés sur des régions d'intérêt spectrales spécifiques dans le spectre FT-IR de la composition de VGO inconnue.
