A method of forming an image on a substrate that includes applying a radiation curable analog ink composition by an analog printing method onto a surface of the substrate to form a coated substrate, applying a radiation curable inkjet ink composition by a digital printing method onto the coated substrate while the radiation curable analog ink composition is still wet to form a hybrid coated substrate, and exposing to electron beam radiation. A method of forming an image on a substrate that includes applying a radiation curable inkjet ink composition by a digital printing method onto a surface of the substrate to form a coated substrate, applying a radiation curable analog ink composition by an analog printing method onto the coated substrate while the radiation curable inkjet ink composition is still wet to form a hybrid coated substrate, and exposing to electron beam radiation.

L'invention concerne un procédé de formation d'une image sur un substrat, qui consiste à : appliquer une composition d'encre analogique durcissable par rayonnement, par un procédé d'impression analogique, sur une surface du substrat pour former un substrat revêtu, appliquer une composition d'encre pour jet d'encre durcissable par rayonnement, par un procédé d'impression numérique, sur le substrat revêtu pendant que la composition d'encre analogique durcissable par rayonnement est encore humide pour former un substrat revêtu hybride ; et exposer à un rayonnement de faisceau d'électrons. L'invention concerne également un procédé de formation d'une image sur un substrat qui consiste à : appliquer une composition d'encre pour jet d'encre durcissable par rayonnement, par un procédé d'impression numérique, sur une surface du substrat pour former un substrat revêtu, appliquer une composition d'encre analogique durcissable par rayonnement, par un procédé d'impression analogique, sur le substrat revêtu pendant que la composition d'encre pour jet d'encre durcissable par rayonnement est encore humide pour former un substrat revêtu hybride, et exposer à un rayonnement de faisceau d'électrons.
