Abstract

A dehumidifier (1) comprises a housing (2) provided with a process air inlet (3) and a process air outlet (4) and a drying device (6) provided with moisture adsorption means. A fan (10) adapted to bring process air entering through the process air inlet (3) to pass the drying device (6) and, subsequent to having been dehumidified, depart through the process air outlet (4). Means (12) for heating regeneration air passing through the drying device (6) for regeneration of the moisture adsorption means and then passing to a regeneration air outlet (21) are also provided. By providing a heat-exchanger (8) with a first inlet connected and a second inlet for effecting an exchange of heat between air entering through the first inlet and air entering through the second inlet; and a valve (20) switchable between a first position, allowing wet regeneration air to exit through the regeneration air outlet; and a second position, allowing an exchange of heat between wet regeneration air having passed through the drying device (6) and air entered through the first inlet of the heat-exchanger, wherein the wet regeneration air will be cooled and water vapour of the wet regeneration air will condense, a dual operation mode dehumidifier is obtained. A method for drying air is also provided.

L'invention concerne un déshumidificateur (1) comprenant un boîtier (2) pourvu d'une entrée d'air de traitement (3) et d'une sortie d'air de traitement (4) et un dispositif de séchage (6) pourvu de moyens d'adsorption d'humidité. Un ventilateur (10) est conçu pour amener l'air de traitement entrant à travers l'entrée d'air de traitement (3) à passer par le dispositif de séchage (6) et, après avoir été déshumidifié, à partir en passant par la sortie d'air de traitement (4). Des moyens (12) pour chauffer l'air de régénération passant à travers le dispositif de séchage (6) pour la régénération des moyens d'adsorption d'humidité et passant ensuite vers une sortie d'air de régénération (21) sont également prévus. En fournissant un échangeur de chaleur (8) ayant une première entrée reliée et une seconde entrée pour effectuer un échange de chaleur entre l'air entrant à travers la première entrée et l'air entrant à travers la seconde entrée ; et une valve (20) commutable entre une première position, permettant à l'air de régénération humide de sortir par la sortie d'air de régénération ; et une seconde position, permettant un échange de chaleur entre l'air de régénération humide ayant traversé le dispositif de séchage (6) et l'air entré à travers la première entrée de l'échangeur de chaleur, l'air de régénération humide étant refroidi et la vapeur d'eau de l'air de régénération humide se condensant, un déshumidificateur à mode de fonctionnement double est obtenu. L'invention concerne également un procédé de séchage d'air.
