A focus position evaluation apparatus, method, and program in which the accuracy of focus position evaluation is improved. The focus position evaluation apparatus, which scans observation areas with respect to an observation target and evaluates the focus position of a photographing apparatus that photographs each of the observation areas, includes: a comparison image acquisition unit for acquiring a plurality of comparison images, which are comparison targets for evaluating the focus position, by photographing the observation target at each of different focus positions in at least one scanning direction; and an evaluation unit for evaluating the focus position by comparing an observation image acquired by photographing the observation target by the photographing apparatus with the comparison image of a scanning direction corresponding to the scanning direction at the time of photographing the observation target.

La présente invention concerne un appareil, un procédé et un programme d'évaluation de position de mise au point dans lesquels la précision de l'évaluation de la position de mise au point est améliorée. L'appareil d'évaluation de position de mise au point, qui balaye des zones d'observation par rapport à une cible d'observation et évalue la position de mise au point d'un appareil de photographie qui photographie chacune des zones d'observation, comprend : une unité d'acquisition d'image de comparaison pour acquérir une pluralité d'images de comparaison, qui sont des cibles de comparaison pour évaluer la position de mise au point, en photographiant la cible d'observation à chacune des différentes positions de mise au point dans au moins une direction de balayage, et une unité d'évaluation pour évaluer la position de mise au point par comparaison d'une image d'observation acquise en photographiant la cible d'observation par l'appareil de photographie avec l'image de comparaison d'une direction de balayage correspondant à la direction de balayage au moment de la photographie de la cible d'observation.

フォーカス位置評価装置、方法、及びプログラムにおいて、フォーカス位置の評価の精度を向上させる。観察対象に対して観察域を走査し、各観察域を撮影する撮影装置のフォーカス位置を評価するフォーカス位置評価装置であって、少なくとも1つの走査方向において、異なるフォーカス位置毎に観察対象を撮影することによりフォーカス位置の評価の比較対象となる比較画像を複数取得する比較画像取得部と、撮影装置によって観察対象を撮影することにより取得された観察画像と、観察対象を撮影する際の走査方向に対応する走査方向の比較画像とを照合することにより、フォーカス位置を評価する評価部と、を含む。
