Provided are a tread rubber composition and a pneumatic tire that exhibit an excellent dry grip performance (grip performance on a dry road surface). The tread rubber composition contains 100 mass parts of a rubber component that contains at least one styrene-butadiene copolymer, 1 to 100 mass parts of carbon black, and 0 to 150 mass parts of silica. The extracted component yielded by acetone extraction of the tread rubber composition and the ozone degraded component yielded by subjecting the extraction component to ozone degradation have the respective peak areas H1a and H1b in the molecular weight range from at least 50 to less than 2,500 that satisfy expression (1), and the respective peak areas H2a and H2b in the molecular weight range of 2,500-30,000 that satisfy expression (2): 1.05 ≤ H1b/H1a ≤ 1.75 (1), and 0.20 ≤ H2b/H2a ≤ 0.75 (2).

L'invention concerne une composition de caoutchouc pour bande de roulement et un pneumatique qui présentent d'excellentes performances d'adhérence sur route sèche (performances d'adhérence sur une surface de route sèche). La composition de caoutchouc pour bande de roulement contient 100 parties en masse d'un constituant caoutchouc qui contient au moins un copolymère de styrène-butadiène, 1 à 100 parties en masse de noir de carbone et 0 à 150 parties en masse de silice. Le constituant extrait produit par extraction à l'acétone de la composition de caoutchouc pour bande de roulement et le constituant dégradé par l'ozone produit par l'opération consistant à soumettre le constituant d'extraction à une dégradation par l'ozone ont les surfaces de pic respectives H1a et H1b dans la plage de masse moléculaire de 50 à moins de 2 500 qui satisfont la relation (1) et les surfaces de pic respectives H2a et H2b dans la plage de masse moléculaire de 2 500 à 30 000 qui satisfont la relation (2) : 1,05 ≤ H1b/H1a ≤ 1,75 (1) et 0,20 ≤ H2b/H2a ≤ 0,75 (2).
