Provided is an electrode material for an electrical storage device, which can make up for deficiencies in a hydrophobic active substance, impart hydrophilicity to the hydrophobic active substance, and provide excellent dispersibility without degradation in electrode characteristics. This electrode material for an electrical storage device that uses a nonaqueous electrolyte comprises a composite powder; each particle that composes the composite powder includes both a component A and a component B; the particle is structured such that the component B is carried by the component A, or coats same, or is exposed on the surface of same; the component A is formed from a material that is capable of electrochemically storing and emitting alkali metal ions; the component B is sulfur modified cellulose which has at least a SO3 group as a functional group; the component B is contained in an amount of 0.01 mass% or more relative to 100 mass% of the total of the component A and the component B.

L'invention concerne un matériau d'électrode pour un dispositif de stockage électrique, qui peut compenser des déficiences dans une substance active hydrophobe, conférer une hydrophilicité à la substance active hydrophobe, et fournir une excellente dispersibilité sans dégradation des caractéristiques d'électrode.
