A vessel candidate pixel derivation means 81 sets individual pixels of a synthetic aperture radar image as pixels of interest, and determines, for each of the pixels of interest, whether the pixel of interest is a vessel candidate pixel which is a pixel candidate representing a vessel, for each combination of the size of a target cell including the pixel of interest and the size of a guard cell corresponding to a region between a background cell including a peripheral pixel of the target cell and the target cell. An integration means 82 integrates determination results as to whether the pixel of interest is a vessel candidate pixel for each of the pixels of interest. A vessel pixel detection means 83 detects a pixel corresponding to the vessel on the basis of the integration result acquired for each of the pixels of interest by the integration means 82.

Selon l'invention, un moyen de dérivation de pixel candidat de navire 81 définit des pixels individuels d'une image radar à ouverture synthétique en tant que pixels d'intérêt, et détermine, pour chacun des pixels d'intérêt, si le pixel d'intérêt est un pixel candidat de navire qui est un candidat de pixel représentant un navire, pour chaque combinaison de la taille d'une cellule cible comprenant le pixel d'intérêt et la taille d'une cellule de garde correspondant à une région entre une cellule d'arrière-plan comprenant un pixel périphérique de la cellule cible et la cellule cible. Un moyen d'intégration 82 intègre des résultats de détermination relatifs au fait que le pixel d'intérêt est un pixel candidat de navire pour chacun des pixels d'intérêt. Un moyen de détection de pixel de navire 83 détecte un pixel correspondant au navire sur la base du résultat d'intégration acquis pour chacun des pixels d'intérêt par le moyen d'intégration.

船舶候補画素導出手段81は、合成開口レーダ画像の個々の画素をそれぞれ注目画素とし、注目画素毎に、注目画素を含む目標セルのサイズと、目標セルの周辺画素を含む背景セルと目標セルとの間の領域に該当するガードセルのサイズとの組合せ毎に、注目画素が船舶を表わす画素の候補である船舶候補画素であるか否かを判定する。統合手段82は、注目画素毎に、船舶候補画素であるか否かの判定結果を統合する。船舶画素検出手段83は、統合手段82によって注目画素毎に得られた統合結果に基づいて、船舶に該当する画素を検出する。
