Provided is a technology that enables phytoplankton to be grown in an area smaller than that of the prior art. The present invention involves a phytoplankton growing apparatus provided with a circulation part that extends in the vertical direction and circulates a culture medium and phytoplankton, and a pump part that is connected to the circulation part and pumps the culture medium and the phytoplankton upward, wherein the circulation part comprises an outer wall that transmits light, and a plurality of flanges that are stacked inside the outer wall for causing the culture medium and the plant plankton to descend while retaining the culture medium and the plant plankton.

L'invention concerne une technologie permettant de cultiver du phytoplancton dans une zone plus réduite que celle exploitée dans l'état de la technique. L'invention concerne un appareil de culture de phytoplancton comprenant un module de circulation qui s'étend dans la direction verticale et fait circuler un milieu de culture et du phytoplancton; et un module pompe relié au module de circulation et pompant le milieu de culture et le phytoplancton vers le haut. Le module de circulation présente une paroi externe transmettant de la lumière, et une pluralité de brides empilées à l'intérieur de la paroi externe pour retenir le milieu de culture et le plancton en culture et les faire descendre.
