Abstract

A building structure (1) comprises a core (2) extending upright through and supporting the weight of one or more stories (3) of the building structure (1), each story (3) comprising one or more floor units (4), at least one story (3) forming an outer peripheral portion (5) which defines an outer surface (6) of the story (3), and an inner support portion (7) through which the story (3) is supported by the core (2) via an interface (8) along the perimeter of the core (2), wherein the horizontal cross-section of the core (2) has a substantially circular external perimeter at the level of the interface (8), the interface (8) and the inner support portion (7) of the story (3) hence being both of substantially annular shape, wherein at least one story (3) is stiffened by a space frame (9) extending from the inner support portion (7) to the outer peripheral portion (5) and making the story (3) a self- supporting rigid body cantilevered off the core (2) and structurally independent of all other stories (3), wherein the story (3) transmits gravity-induced loads to the core (2) via the interface (8) only by means of vertical forces.

La présente invention concerne une structure (1) de construction qui comprend une partie centrale (2) s'étendant verticalement à travers et supportant le poids d'un ou de plusieurs étages (3) de la structure (1) de construction, chaque étage (3) comprenant une ou plusieurs unités de plancher (4), au moins un étage (3) formant une partie (5) périphérique externe qui définit une surface externe (6) de l'étage (3), et une partie de support interne (7) à travers laquelle l'étage (3) est supporté par la partie centrale (2) grâce à une zone de contact (8) le long du périmètre de la partie centrale (2), la section transversale horizontale de la partie centrale (2) a un périmètre externe sensiblement circulaire au niveau de la zone de contact (8), la zone de contact (8) et la partie (7) de support interne de l'étage (3) étant ainsi toutes les deux de forme sensiblement annulaire, au moins un étage (3) étant renforcé par une structure spatiale (9) s'étendant à partir de la partie (7) de support interne à la partie (5) périphérique externe et rendant l'étage (3) comme corps rigide autoportant en porte-à-faux par rapport à la partie centrale (2) et structurellement indépendant de tous les autres étages (3), l'étage (3) transmettant des charges induites par gravité à la partie centrale (2) par l'intermédiaire de la zone de contact (8) uniquement au moyen de forces verticales.
